What Is the St. Charles Education Foundation?

The foundation is a group of citizens dedicated to supporting quality education for Community Unit School District 303 which serves more than 13,000 students (K-12) in and around St. Charles, IL. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is recognized by the District 303 Board of Education.

 

Goals of the Foundation:

  • To raise funds to support enhancement of education for the students of District 303

  • To support literacy by providing financial support for the St Charles Literature Festival

  • To assist local corporations, businesses and residents by providing an avenue for their involvement in education

  • To enlist volunteer personnel to join the Foundation Board and support future Foundation efforts

Building public awareness of the value and need for quality education.

The Greater St. Charles Education Foundation uses its resources to support enhancements for education programs not funded by traditional revenue sources. All age levels and curricular areas will be considered. Since our inception in 1992, the Foundation has donated over $1 Million to benefit D303 students
