General Information

The St. Charles Education Foundation was founded in 1992 to promote excellence in education through community awareness, involvement, and philanthropy. The Foundation accepts, solicits, and disburses contributions, gifts, and bequests from individuals, groups, or businesses to enhance educational opportunities offered students otherwise not available through regular funding resources.

The Foundation annually awards scholarships to one or more graduating seniors at each of the two high schools, St. Charles East and St. Charles North. The monetary value of each scholarship will be a minimum of $1000.00.  To qualify, seniors are expected to further their education at a 2-year or 4-year college or university, vocational school or post high school institution of higher learning. The scholarships are a one-time non-renewable award which will be granted based on overall merit.  Higher grade point average will be used to determine a winner event of a tie. The scholarship applications are available at St. Charles North and East High School guidance office and at St. Charles Education Foundation.
